Good Riddance Tropical provides up to 4hrs of natural protection against mosquitoes, midges & sandflies. It offers a slightly higher level of protection against mosquitoes compared to our Sensitive repellent so it’s a great option for mozzie magnets or when you’re deep in mosquito territory. Our Tropical repellent contains citronella so it is not recommended during pregnancy, for sensitive skin or under 2 years of age.

Good Riddance Sensitive was developed to be tough on bugs, but gentle on you. It provides up to 3hrs of protection against mosquitoes, midges and sandflies. Our Sensitive repellent is a great option for babies from 3 months of age, people with sensitive skin, during pregnancy and for when you need a repellent that doesn’t smell anything like repellent. Good Riddance Tropical Insect Repellent provides up to 4hrs of protection from mosquitoes, midges and sandflies. 

Good Riddance is one of the longest-lasting botanical insect repellents in Australia. Botanical repellents rely on pure essential oils to repel insects but these oils evaporate very quickly. That’s why many natural insect repellent sprays stop working in less than an hour! Our cream was carefully developed to encapsulate our essential oil actives for slow release over several hours.

Insect repellent is a bit like sunscreen – it’s important not to miss any exposed areas of skin! But, unlike sunscreen, you do not need to use much.

To apply Good Riddance Insect Repellents, we recommend applying a few small dots of cream down the length of your arm. Then, gently spread the cream to ensure all of the exposed skin on your arm is covered in a thin, even layer. Repeat this on any other parts of your body that are not covered by clothing.

If you need to apply repellent to your face, we recommend only applying our Tropical repellent around your hairline and jaw. If you are prone to bites on your face, you may want to consider our Sensitive repellent as a gentler option for your face.
