OUR STORY

Good Riddance is uniquely formulated by Jeannie Lynch, a qualified cosmetic chemist who specialises in natural ingredients. While travelling around Australia with her family, she decided to leave her corporate career behind to follow her passion for natural skincare.

In 2010 Jeannie launched her business, Natural Wonders, and started making natural products which she sold at various Darwin markets. This soon developed into an obsession and in 2013, she completed her Diploma in Personal Care Formulation. Jeannie is now a member of the Australian Society of Cosmetic Chemists.

Jeannie Lynch, Founder

Jeannie developed Good Riddance Insect Repellent for her two young boys while living in Darwin as she was concerned about the toxic effects of applying DEET-based repellents daily.

She spent over two years developing and testing the products with local fishermen in the most mozzie and midge-prone areas of the Top End, including Shady Camp, a notorious mozzie (and croc) infested billabong on the way out to Kakadu.

Our Team - Alex, Chloe, Damien, Jeannie, Sean, Maverick, Cooper

Natural Wonders is a passionate family business, with Jeannie and her husband, Sean involved in the day to day running of the business. Her sons Alex & Oscar, nephew Cooper and neice Stephanie also work in the business. In 2015 Natural Wonders moved to Melbourne to grow the business further. The team has since grown to include 12 passionate and dynamic staff members.

We now have over 400 stockists across Australia. You can also find us at various shows, festivals and markets across Australia, such as the Victorian Caravan, Camping & Touring Supershow. One of the things that gives us the most joy is how it has allowed others to start their own successful business as market stallholders all over Australia.

In 2018 we began the lengthy process of having our insect repellents registered by the APVMA. This included extensive clinical trials to determine efficacy, safety and shelf-life stability. We are proud to say that our natural insect repellents stand up to any other DEET-filled insect repellents on the market.

We are proud to give Australian families a way to enjoy the outdoors, knowing that our clinically proven, natural insect and natural mosquito repellent range will protect them. We look forward to sharing our products with you and hope they bring a little peace of mind and a lot more joy to your life.
